Tungsten Wedding Ring

I’m 40+8 and my fingers are so swollen that I can’t get my wedding rings off. I know this is pretty common during pregnancy so I didn’t think much of it. However, I was talking to a friend of mine this weekend (I should actually say she’s more like an acquaintance…and at the risk of sounding incredibly two faced she’s quite frankly the “know it all/wet towel” of the bunch) and she told me that I should do whatever I can to get my rings off because if I have to have a C-Section and can’t remove them they’ll cut them off. Now, to me this just sounds absurd, and it would take quite the fight before I’d let anyone cut them off. But, I can’t stop thinking about this-and I have to know…has this ever happened to anyone?

I am 22 weeks pregnant and my hands are pretty swollen my wedding ring is pretty tight on my hand (I don’t even know if I will be able to get it off) The jewler did say that Windex works best so I may try that. I really don’t want to take it off though. Do you think my swelling is going to get so bad that the ring is going to hurt on my finger? I don ‘t want to have to cut it off. Did any of you ever have this problem and what did you do?

I am almost 36 weeks. My ring finger is swollen and puffy (more so than the other fingers), but it does not hurt. I want to get my rings off as it may be cutting off circulation. Did you still leave them on? If not, how did you get your rings off?
yngnhpls…: How did you take them off? I did not take them off earlier as my finger did not bother me.

My daughter is pregnant and her hands are swolen and we are trying to find a way to remove her wedding rings without haveing them cut off.
