I bought my fiance a tungsten wedding band and I would like to have it engraved. The place I bought it at does not offer engraving.. can I take the ring to some place like Kay’s to have the ring engraved or will they not engrave a ring that was not bought from there?
Also, how long does it typically take to engrave a ring?
My fiance and I are getting married in August, and we are starting to look into wedding rings. We bought a home last year and have spent quite a bit of money recently; also want to put a deck on our house Spring of ‘10, so spending hundreds and hundreds of $$ on rings right now does not really appeal to us. However, I do of course want these rings to be special and not just the most affordable ones we could find. . . I realize for example that sterling silver would be extremely affordable but I really do not want to go with that for our wedding rings! Would love to know peoples’ opinions on Tungsten, Titanium, compared to white gold, etc. . . and pros and cons of each.

My fiance and I are looking for cheap wedding rings under $200 a piece.. He is going on deployment in March and we are just going to have a very small wedding before that and have a real wedding when he returns so we don’t want to spend a whole lot on rings at the moment..
He wants a quality black ebony wedding ring but I want white gold or tungsten on the inside so I can engrave something in it. I have found only a few on the internet but quality is just not there. Any help would be great. He likes the Armani one but cant find it in his size (size 10) Thanks all
I recently made a purchase for my fiance’s wedding band. After doing some research it sounds as if there are positives and negatives to this ring…as I’m sure there is to any ring.) I’m just curious if anyone else has bought this kind of ring…and if they ever had any problems. I appreciate any useful advice.
Everyone in my family has a six prong Tiffany setting engagement ring and a plain band wedding ring. My fiance and I want to look for something that is antique,preferably Edwardian or Art deco. I love filigree and things that are simply interesting. I think it will be difficult to find a matching band. Do you think it is okay to just have one ring? Finding the perfect ring is like finding a needle in a haystack. My mom wants him to go out and buy a ring now, but I told her, round diamonds and Tiffany settings are aren’t a dime a dozen, but we are not running out of stock, so we are going to look.
What do you think, Engagement and wedding ring or just one ring?
We are getting married this year and my fiance would like to have a ring that will not scratch or ding easily. He has mechanic hands and would be very very hard on jewelry. So I need to know which of the two is stronger and a better buy for his wedding band?
