My girlfriend and i went looking at wedding/ promise rings and i came across tungsten carbide rings. I am familiar with the metal properties of the ring “a very hard meal used for tools.” and the fact it is VERY hard to damage with every day life wear. What do you think of these new rings? How many have them?
I am not worried about the price. I like the fact that it is very hard to get a scratch in the metal like gold can. I honestly don’t like jems in my rings. I like the ones with a band of silver in the middle of the band.
Does it shine well?
Does it keep its shine?
Will it scratch?
Is it heavy?
Is it expensive?
I have a $700 diamond ring on ebay right now. One just like it sold for 530 a week ago. i have 2 days left and the bid is only 36.00 i have a reserve on it. to save me there, but what happens? people last minutre go on a bidding war? It’s an antique vintage wedding set. 14 k gold approx. .50 carat size 7. they sell like crazy on there but mines not.
I have been wearing a $300 wedding ring for 10 yrs now and I want a nicer one, we have $$ but he is pretty cheep. I feel like he is giving me the short end of the stick, i feel insulted.
we Had our 10 year in june, I was under the impression that he got the hint and he didn’t.
Lucky, we have an excellent relationship and I don’t ask for much. A man that makes 6 figures and doesn’t do it frankly IS cheap.
Rosie- F you! I gave birth to 3 children for this man, and I wore a ring that doesn’t resemble ANY type of ring for this long, if I was selfish I wouldn’t have put up with it for so long.
This ring unfortunately is ugly and cannot be “embelished” in any way.. its gold with a blue stone.
